01What auction platforms does TrovoPilot work with?

TrovoPilot's catalog import is built for HiBid— paste a HiBid auction or catalog URL to import the auction and its open lots. You can also import individual lots from many other auction pages by URL or photo. Bid data refreshes on a regular polling cycle (and speeds up as lots near close), and you can pull the latest bids on demand with Recheck.

02How accurate are the AI estimates?

AI estimates are based on comparable sold listings and image recognition. They are informational estimates, not professional appraisals. Accuracy varies by category — common consumer electronics and tools tend to have strong comparables, while niche collectibles may have fewer data points. Always do your own research before bidding.

03Is my data shared with anyone?

Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Lot photos and descriptions are sent to AI providers (Google Gemini, Google Vision, Anthropic Claude) strictly for analysis. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

04How does sign-in work?

TrovoPilot supports Google OAuth and email/password authentication. You can sign in with your existing Google account or create an account with your email address. We never see or store your Google password. Your session is stored in an encrypted cookie on your device that expires after 7 days.

05What does "scouting" mean?

Scouting is the process of analyzing an auction catalog before you bid. TrovoPilot imports the open lots from an auction, sends each lot through AI analysis, and sorts results into three tiers: Recommended (high profit potential), Maybe (worth a second look), and Skip (low margin or poor fit). This lets you focus your research time on the lots most likely to be profitable.

06Does field scanning work without internet?

Yes. The field scan feature captures photos, GPS coordinates, and notes locally on your device. If you have no internet connection (common at auction preview events), scans are queued on your device and automatically uploaded when connectivity returns.

07Is TrovoPilot free?

TrovoPilot offers a free tier with monthly limits on evaluations, scouting, and imports, plus paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Ultimate) with higher limits. See the pricing page for current details.

08Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. Go to Settings > Delete Account to schedule deletion of your account and all associated data. Deletion has a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel it from Settings; after that, all your data — auction records, lot data, photos, bid history, and scout results — is permanently removed.
